When you have a toddler, its difficult to imagine that in 10-12 short years, they will be a teenager. It happens so quickly. The minutes you spend help your toddler and preschooler learn to read help ensure your child’s success in school and in life.

I love Spring in the Northwest. After months of gray skies, torrential rain, hail, freezing winds, and snow, cherry trees start blooming. Its hard to capture the beauty of the blooming trees. You are driving along, surrounded by evergreens and trees bare of leaves and then you are astounded by a vibrant tree covered in [...]

We added a puppy to our family this spring, Bailey. As with all puppies, kittens, babies and toddlers, he is energetic, inquisitive and curious. He runs when he could walk. He bounces everywhere, starting first thing in the morning, jumping out of bed, excited to see what new adventures will come his way. He craves challenge, stimulation and fun. Just like puppies, as parents, we can use our childrens’ innate desire to grow to help them learn math, reading, spelling and phonics in fun, exciting ways.
